only 3.7” X 2.50” X 6.00” the TRIPS Network Interface part number TNET
ver 1.1 replaces the old system requiring a Personal Computer and TRIPS
management software driver. No more clocks to set, hard drives to fail
and the new interface allows the system to achieve ACE compliancy.
The device requires an external DC power supply as supplied with the interface.
On the top of the unit is a large LED lamp indicating both power and operational
status.
There is no large overhead operating system and
that means crash free operation. The unit will replace the current TRIPS
PC interface with no hardware modifications in a matter of minutes. Each
interface can drive up to 50 signs. Units will be pre-configured for (IP
Address) each location. No software to load, no operating system (No Windows)
to load. The interface contains the software needed to work with the current
web interface.
The Tnet ver1.1 has one DC power connector ( connects to external DC power
supply), one RJ45 Network Jack, two RJ11 connectors(for data to the panels)
bufferred outputs for TRIPS.
Upon power on the LED indicator will blink slowly at first, then more rapidly, and finally stay on to indicate the device is ready. The two holes in the top of the unit allow viewing the network operation LEDS.
The panels should be wired to the interface as shown on the wiring diagram. Please note that the RJ11 Box closest to the interface is wired differently from those at each panel.
